Graduates Eglė and Tomas, obedient to a vague impulse, escape from a formal tour of the museum. They are welcomed by the guard of the stud farm and are even allowed to horseback ride. Unfortunately, Tom has a constantly preaching aunt at home and a two from chemistry at school. The beautiful friendship between Eglė and Tomas becomes complicated when Eglė starts attending drawing lessons with a professional artist. Tom's imagination is bubbling, he is experiencing the suffering of jealousy. The determination to talk to a supposed competitor "masculinely" ends with Tom getting drunk and taking shelter at the neighbor’s pantomime actress’ Gina‘s home as to not disturb his sleeping aunt. When the two of them meet again, Eglė, led by feminine wisdom, takes the first step of reconciliation. The naive and charming story of first love is marked by a rare feeling of sincerity, surrounded by the atmosphere of Vilnius at that time.
