"Ito - Diary of a City Clergyman" tells the story of a young Buddhist cleric, Yoshinobu Fujioka. He seeks the meaning of life in remote corners of the city and in the darkest corners and nightmares of the human soul. He accepts the confession of a prisoner, listens to a geisha, and at the same time, in Tokyo at night, memories of people traveling to meet each other are woven into the web. It is a study of human thought that explores memory, it is a film in which a dream intertwines with reality and wisdom.
