"Copenhagen Dreams" is a documentary portrait of Max Kestner in the Danish capital. It’s a film about the environment that affects our lives. About the buildings we wake up to, the house doors we walk through, the streets we cross. It’s a story about people in a room, an apartment, a house, and a city street. Together, it’s a film about how our way of life affects the environment, about the places we see in our dreams and the walls on which we write the names of our loved ones.
“When you walk down the city street at five o’clock in the morning, you hear birds chirping on the rooftops. Some streets make me happy, some make me sad. There are streets that are beautiful to me and terrible to others. Why so? Why does the city affect me like that? These questions were the reason for creating this film, ”says director Max Kestner.
