"Nuclear War" is a vision of the future of nuclear war and its results, a detailed and appalling account of how an atomic bomb attack would affect a small British village. Some images in the film are difficult to lift; they do illustrate that in the event of a catastrophe of this magnitude, the living will envy the dead. The film won an Oscar in 1967 for Best Documentary.
