Special programme “New Baltic films”

Dancing Worm

20 min. | Documentary | N/A

The soloist of the opera once again performs behind the scenes as a backup of the main performer. He does not yet know that it is today that he will be destined to return to the stage and sing instead of a sick Italian artist. By shortening the waiting hours, the dubber snarls at an overdose of drugs and plunges into a drug journey. Here he meets all the acquaintances of the theater who have taken the form of representatives of the criminal world, tries to reconcile his moral accounts with them, and finally accepts himself with all his complexes, fears, and unfulfilled desires. When the dubbing finally has to go on stage, it’s already hard to tell where the vision is and where the reality is.
