A stranger – that is how eighteen-year-old Arūnas feels. His mother, a painter who longed for creative freedom, left him and his father behind, while the relationship between father and son grows ever colder – Arūnas cannot grasp his distant father’s world. Neither school nor classmates bring comfort to his young heart. Constant betrayals and the incomprehensible demands of the system lead him toward what seems like the only way out – to quit everything and start working. But fear proves stronger than the longing for freedom. Not even his friend Benas, a musician and advocate of independent living, can help him break free. So who will?
