Rick, an American who was not accepted into the army, comes up with an alternative - he sets up his own company, War Zone Tours, to organise trips to conflict zones around the world. Andrew, a Briton, goes on similar tours year after year. As the film follows the characters, it becomes clear that these hardcore tourists have no idea of the risks they are taking. For them, war is an adrenaline rush, a thrilling game, while real atrocities are taking place right in front of their eyes. This road documentary about a growing kind of tourism shows the luxury of experiencing war from the perspective of the viewer.
