Deployed in a mission in Afghanistan, Thomas (by Mikkel Boe Følsgaard) is heavily wounded and is transported back to Denmark. Having lost his both legs and the desire to live, in a rehabilitation center he meets Sofie (by Cecilie Lassen), a ballerina from the Royal Danish Ballet, who is visiting her aunt.Meeting with Sofie brings hope back to Thomas’ life, and his only wish is to to return to the field.
