Dagur Kári

Dagur Kári is a director, writer and musician. He was born 1973, France. Brought up in Iceland. Graduate of the National Film School of Denmark, 1999. Made three award-winning short films. Kári’s feature film debut, the Icelandic co-production Noi the Albino (2003), a box office success, was awarded in 11 countries. Dark Horse (2005) was selected for Un Certain Regard in Cannes. Scanorama presented all those films in 2006. His film The Good Heart was screened in Scanorama in 2009. Currently works at the National Film School of Denmark as Head of the Director’s Program.
