Two brothers Oscar and Fredrick are waiting for their father Einar to come home from Afghanistan. He is a soldier. Their mother is also longing to see her husband. When he comes home, nobody can hide their joy. But Einar is not very open about his experiences in the field. The house fills up with silence. Unexpectedly, father disappears while hunting reindeers in the mountains and the boys decide to seach for him.
