Crossing Europe

Slovenian Girl

1 hr. 30 min. | Drama | N/A

Ljubljana. 2008s. At the age of twenty-three, Alexander came from a small town to the capital to study English. No one suspects that she is the "Slovenian" - a well-paid prostitute. She is fluent in manipulating people, constantly lying, hating her mother and, if necessary, stealing. The only person who cares about the girl is her father, a living rocker. Alexander has all sorts of ideas, but fate has created a different plan for her.

"Slovenia" is a portrait of a young woman torn by internal conflicts. She is no longer caught in the environment and is no longer able to properly assess herself and her body, and all this, she says, only for a better life, ”says director Damjan Kozole.
