Twenty-three Alzbeta is desperately trying to find a husband and start a new life in Ireland. Her house in Slovakia was demolished due to the construction of a highway. Her older sister, Tina, who is engaged to Irish Steve, wants to help Alzbieta. Tina is tormented by the feeling that she owes something to her younger sister. Alzbieta categorically refuses to help. Her older sister seems to be jealous of her future marriage. From the very beginning, the notion that the sisters are hiding some dark secret, an event that raises tension between them and prevents them from getting closer, does not let go. The only way for the sisters to get out of this vicious circle is to confront the past, events that they have not dared to talk about so far.
