Ask and Anne have everything their hearts can crave: a good career, lovely children and an apartment in the most beautiful area of ​​Copenhagen. One morning Ask asks Ane to take a break from her married life. Why? Is he meeting another woman? Ask's decision, like circles clouded by water, confuses the destinies of all loved ones.

"Above the street under water" is a story about my generation. A time that has everything and for which nothing is impossible. Only people do not learn to live with each other in any way. Based on Aristotle’s idea of ​​the unity of action, time, and place, I wanted to create a grotesque story about everyday life. One divorce. One day. One city, ”says director Charlotte Sieling.
