Ditte's family is known for bakers Reinvaldas all over the country. She has also reached the heights of her career - she has her own gallery, constantly traveling the world. Ditte recently offered a dream job in New York. Together with her boyfriend Peter, she decides to accept the offer and travel to the United States. A bright future, an easy and fun life await. The couple is already getting ready to leave when Ditte's charismatic father, the bakery’s boss, gets seriously ill. Death reverses the decision to leave and stays caring for him. The father demands that the daughter take over the family business. Peter, meanwhile, persuades him to pursue his own dreams. What is the price? Suddenly life becomes very complicated.
