1992s. Lithuania has already regained its independence. The world is watching events with interest. Lithuanian citizens are happy with the regained freedom, as well as ... with imported goods that quickly fill store shelves that were empty during the Soviet era. True, the time for deficits is not over yet. The story of the film begins in one of the factories in Vilnius, whose employees draw spells. The winner will be able to purchase an imported refrigerator. Everyone wants a refrigerator, but most of all - the heroine of the film Danguolė.
The refrigerator Sky, of course, does not win, it hurts even more - it goes to her neighbor. Still, the heroine of the film does not remain empty. She pulls out the MYSTERIOUS prize. This means that Danguole has the honor of accepting a photojournalist from America for three days, who will take a photo of Danguolė and her family, and his photos will become a photo report to the world about the new Lithuania. So suddenly and unexpectedly the factory employee Danguolė becomes a kind of Lithuanian ambassador ...
“I started writing the screenplay of the film while far from Lithuania. I think distance helps me to evaluate things and situations more critically and fairly. In the film "It's already great, just a little more", I tried to achieve this: to look at Lithuanians with irony, and at myself, on how freed from the embrace of Russia, no one was forced to attack another - the west. In the film, I don’t judge and blame, I rather pinch my finger on others and myself. Although the film depicts older times (1992), it really talks about this day, ”says the film's director Lina Lužytė.
