The story is that when you find the love of life, it is immediately taken away from you. A story about how to learn to protect love. It is a story about lovers - a man who has married for a middle age and a much younger woman. They live keeping their secrets and raising a five-year-old son. Eventually, Martha gets tired of eternal hiding, lover status, and decides to live alone. Dmitry does not want to lose his beloved wife and illegitimate beloved child, but his responsibilities and position in society do not allow him to leave the official family. He is confused. However, Martha still returns to Dmitry. They are happy again. Only, unfortunately, not for long.

"My story is a common life situation. I have heard many stories about betrayed wives and doubtful, self-confident middle-aged men who are desperately in love with young lovers. Children suffer the most in such situations. It is unacceptable for me. That is why I wanted to show this story from the inside so that the viewer could judge or justify the hero himself, ”says the film's director Ramunė Čekuolytė-Che.
