Copenhagen, 1944. Denmark is occupied by Nazi Germany. Flame and Citron are two resistance fighters charged with liquidating Danish informers. But when Flame is asked to execute his girlfriend Ketty, an enigmatic Stockholm courier, he questions his orders, wondering who Ketty really is. It’s set during WWII and the German occupation of Denmark and is about an inner circle of activists who were killing Germans and Danish informers. Their fight became more and more radical, almost like terrorism. So it’s quite a controversial subject matter”, – says director Ole Christian Madsen.
