Real estate agent Ulrik did not believe that one day his life could change dramatically. Everything in his world is perfectly arranged until one morning, when he comes to work cheating on a newlywed couple. In the evening, Ulrik is taken directly to the detention center for the murder in the event of a conflict at the bar with a drunken visitor. Although the agent is released the very next day, his life has changed beyond recognition. Pity forces Ulrik to donate the home of the murdered family. This is the beginning of the impending fall. A few weeks later, Ulrik gets two more blows - his wife leaves him, he is fired. His strong and calm personality disappears somewhere.
The screenplay for the film was written by the famous Danish screenwriter Anders Thomas Jensen, and the director Jannik Johansen perfectly painted a portrait of a man "shiny" from the outside, but rotten inside, hiding his traumas. Lars Brygmann plays a key role in the film, seen in films such as "Flies on the Wall" (Fluerne pa vaeggen, 2005), "Royal Games" (Kongekabale, 2004), "Legacy" (Arven, 2003), already shown by Scanorama.
