A young free-spirited girl, tired of her puritanical family, determined to change everything and start a new life. She goes to a farm in the corner of Iceland, where she gets a job - caring for adolescent teenagers. Hippie culture of the 1980s and pseudo-psychoanalytic therapy have their influence. Soon, lies, passion, and tragedy change the fate of all the people of the institution.
