1978, Iceland. Beer is illegal, Cold War ghosts roam everywhere and no one knows about a thing like punk rock. But soon this style invaded quiet Iceland and shook all the old music from the ground up. Everything has changed. Punk rock looked “green,” refreshing, new, and dangerous at the time. Everyone could play it, the less you knew, the better. This film features images from the first punk rock concert in Iceland, footage that was previously erased from Friedrich Thor Fridriksson's film Rokk i Reykjavik (1982). This film sheds light on the first steps of punk rock in Iceland, and is called a masterpiece by both critics and rock professors.
