Music for Weddings and Funerals

The popular writer Sarah, who has lost her only child, lives alone in a house by the sea. The search for peace and alienation seems to be entirely in keeping with its Nordic way. But the strangest thing is that it has the opposite effect - Sarah suddenly longs to be among the people who can brighten her loneliness. She rents a room to a Serbian musician, Bogdan, a very volatile and distracted man with whom the gypsy orchestra regularly travels. Suddenly Sarah is called by her ex-husband, a famous architect. Since then, events have rapidly changed each other, ending a radical atomic nucleus. Despite unpredictable and sometimes unpleasant events, a joyous mood sounds in the finale of the film and chaotic love wins.

Serious human problems are depicted in this film unexpectedly, ironically and with humor, as is typical of the works of Almodovar and Kieślowski, who inspired the director.
