A team of cleaners, upon discovering a Nazi document archive in an old basement, awakens the supernatural horror lurking there. Former American soldier Gunner becomes obsessed with uncovering the basement’s secret, but the house’s past begins to creep ever deeper into his body and mind. Solvent is a radical horror comedy, where elements of “body horror” draw inspiration from real mishaps suffered by members of the film crew – like a broken nail and other physical injuries.
