Hollywood actress Nikki Grace is cast in a remake of a Polish film. As rumors spread about the tragic fate of the original actors, Nikki’s life begins to blur with the role she is playing. Her fractured identities collide, and visions from Poland creep into the Los Angeles skyline. This final – and perhaps most challenging – film by David Lynch feels like a reflection of his entire career: from his endless play with mirrors to his experiments with video, and the presence of his most important actress, Laura Dern.
