Elif, a young intern determined to break into the film industry at any cost, finds herself at the center of turmoil: on set, a real Quran is burned, and soon after the film reels mysteriously disappear. Suspicion falls on everyone, while Elif – harboring a secret of her own – begins to unravel the true motives behind the conflict. This satirical thriller nods to François Truffaut’s Day for Night, probing the hypocrisy and paranoia that so often arise between cultures.
