Metronom centers around the young seventeen-year-old girl named Ana, who is at odds in her life. Her boyfriend, Sorin, and his family were granted a permit to move to Germany, causing their relationship to reach an untimely end. Alexandru Belc
Alexandru Belc is a Romanian director and documentary filmmaker. He graduated from the Bucharest film school in obtained a master’s degree in political science. His first feature-length documentary, “8 Martie”, was screened at many intermational festivals in 2013. His second documentary, “Cinema, mon amour”, was released in France in May 2017. “Metronom”, his first feature film, premiered at Cannes 2022 in the Un Certain Regard section.
