Diana Matuzevičienė graduated from J. Balčikonis Secondary School in Panevėžys, attended J. Miltinis Theatre Studio, studied Ceramics in Steponas Žukas College. She has worked in the Lithuanian Film Studios as director’s assistant to R. Šilinis, R. Verba, A. Araminas, R. Vabalas, L. Lazėnas, H. Šablevičius. She has been working on documentaries with her husband since 1990. Kornelijus Matuzevičius graduated from Vilnius 23rd Secondary School and VGIKO Cinematography Faculty. Since 1970, he worked as cameraman on documentary films in the Lithuanian Film Studios. He has made nearly a hundred documentaries. In 1990, he was presented with the National Award for his work on H. Šablevičius films. He has been working independently on documentary films with his wife D. Matuzevičienė since 1990.
