preparing for the major meeting of the EU, which will mark the centenary of the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which was the start of the First World War. While French theater star Jacques (by Jacques Weber) is preparing to read an extract from the drama "Hotel Europa" by Bernard-Henri Levy, the employees of the hotel, down in the cellar, are preparing for a strike and the journalists on the roof are filming an interview about Gavrilo Princip, the assassin of the Archduke and member of the party "Young Bosnia". The tension is high: the manager of the hotel (by Izudin Bajrovic) is ruthless in dealing with his employees, the journalist decides to interview a Serb nationalist bearing same name as the assassin a hundred years ago, G. Princip (by Muhamed Hadzovic). The film is a masterful study of such themes as the memory, existential fears and moral issues, and is brilliantly captured by the camera of Erol Zubcevic.
