Astrid (actress Julia Jentsch), a famous comedian, is expecting her second child. In one of the visits at the doctor, she and her partner (Bjarne Maedel) are presented with the fact that their child will be born with congenital diseases. Astrid is confronted with a decision she has to make: to abort or to have the child. This drama is a strong and painfully frank portrait of a woman.
