Ten-year- old Nori (act. Val Maloku) and his father Gezim (act. Astrit Kabashi) make a living by selling cigarettes on the streets of post-war Kosovo, barely making ends meet. Gezim leaves Nori and sneaks away to Germany, which after the recent fall of the Berlin Wall, seems to be the land of opportunities. Soon Nori follows his father to Germany. Both refugees in a foreign land, they are faced with the hardships in every step, fighting for the roof over their heads, for trust and respect. This delicate drama presents us with a portrait of a small boy of a great courage in the world where he cannot rely on anyone, not even the person closest to him.
