I Travel Alone is an angry comedy about a young man who doesn't want to grow up – and a touching story about a small girl discovering her father. “At the beginning you laugh. But after a while you notice that there is something that is not so funny. There is sore being opened”, says director Stian Kristiansen.

Director
Stian Kristiansen
Stian Kristiansen was born in 1972. He graduated from Norway’s National Film School in Lillehammer in 2006. Also trained as an actor at the Rogaland Theatre, Kristiansen had a few parts in films. After directing several shorts, he directed his first feature The Man Who Loved Yngve, which won an Amanda for Best Film in 2008. This film screened at Scanorama the same year.
