Katarina is 20 years old. Her life seems to be already set in stone – until she discovers music. Everything changes when she hears a performance of Mozart’s piece. She feels that she has to change her life and get away from her ugly reality. The path she has to follow proves a treacherous one. Yet Katarina is ready to do anything to gain her new identity. “Pure is one of the world’s most ancient stories; this time, though, it is told from the young woman’s perspective,” said director Lisa Langseth.
