Sophie Roze

Sophie Roze was born in 1979. After studying history and art history, she decided to get into animation and in 2004 entered the La Poudrière Animation School in Valence, France. Since then she has worked on institutional films and co-directed the pilot of the series Ariol in 2006. Joseph’s Snails, which won the Arte Award in the Annecy Animation Festival’s projects competition in 2007, is her first film.
