P.S. Krøyer – What a Life!

He’s famous, a real celebrity, he married the most beautiful woman in Copenhagen. He is PS Krøyer. It does not matter to him at all that he inherited a mental illness from his mother. He lives in this day until fate eventually affects him as well.

This documentary tells the story of a man of unique ability who, despite his manic illnesses, alone made Danish art known around the world. But over the years, the disease begins to cloud Krøyer's thoughts and confuse his life. Once he felt invincible, the world was under his feet, but now success has turned away from him. He is abandoned by his wife, and the idyll of his life disappears. But he lives on. A woman named Henny Brodersen comes to his aid. She doesn’t stop loving him until she dies.
