Little Wooden Town

Many idealists live in old wooden houses in the Estonian city of Tartu. Each of them has their own outlook on life. But no one is guided by their ideals, and even if they are guided, those ideals are not very much. It’s a story about a couple who probably live in your neighbourhood as well.

"Estonia has a town in Tartu with a poetic atmosphere. There can meet a number of idealistic characters living in wooden houses. Many of them call themselves philosophers. But they don’t live up to their ideals, it’s just words. Because I am personally involved in this place, I felt I had to convey and capture it, ”says film director Ragne Mandri.
