The writer and director, Rúnar Rúnarsson (b. 1977 Iceland) lived in Denmark for 8 years and graduated from the Danish Film School in 2009. Now, 2 years later, he is ready with his first feature film, Volcano. Nominated for an Academy Award in 2006, The Golden Palm in Cannes 2008 and The European Film Awards in 2008.
