Azad loves to compete in the high jump match, and his greatest hero is the champion of this match, Kajsa Bergqvist. Together with his brother Tiger, he is separated from his family and becomes a hostage in Sweden. There he tries unsuccessfully to make new friends. But he is supported only by the hope of reuniting with his family.
“I wanted a more dramatic film, but then children under 15 couldn’t watch it. I have absolutely no idea what is too rude. In order to show the film to children aged 9-13, we had to make some adjustments to the footage, especially the battle scenes with the explosions at the end of the film. There was less violence in the film, but we revealed everything we wanted, ”says Petter Naess, the film's director.
