The Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg died a hundred years ago. This portrait of one of Norway's greatest sons tries to go beyond common knowledge about Grieg as an artist. "The Composer - Edvard Grieg" attempts to trace the human being behind the myths and bring to light more about the man through archive materials, letters and literature. We also follow the contemporary composer Lars Petter Hagen, who is making a composition for the Grieg anniversary. He reflects upon Grieg, composition and what inspires the artist and such.
