Noroutines

Jūratė Samulionytė was born in 1983, in Jonava. She graduated from Lithuanian Theater and Music Academy with a master’s degree in TV and Film directing in 2007. She worked on several Lithuanian and foreign productions as a director assistant, script supervisor and producer assistant. Jūratė Samulionytė participates in various educational projects and is also developing her skills as a screenwriter. Her short stop-motion film Noroutine was awarded at the National Silver Crane Awards as Best Short Film of the year 2008. Her documentary Shanghai Banzai was nominated for the Best Documentary last year at the Silver Crane Awards and won Best Film Award in Scanorama's New Baltic Cinema competition.
