Early fourteen-year-old Stevie must somehow endure the whims of her unstable parents. When they decide to move to a small German village, Stevie tries to start a normal life there. While the parents childishly shirk their responsibilities, the girl tries to make a good impression on the campus by telling about her supposedly fabulous wealth and the father diplomat. She is doing great. But goodness doesn’t last long. She finds out that her parents are again engaging in illegal work to brighten up their free time for themselves. Her parents ’friends and otherwise beaten people are constantly celebrating in their homes and causing complete chaos. It is in such circumstances of psychological and emotional destruction that Steve must discover his true self and possibly liberate himself.
