Pero is a professional funeral speaker in a small Slovenian town. His unique gift from God is to give each funeral a special shade. A man simply cannot turn his speech into eloquent eulogy and personal confession. It makes all grieving people cry for completely different reasons than they gathered. At home, Pero is busy trying to stop his father from committing suicide again, again unsuccessfully. At the same time, he tries to win Renata’s heart, which in turn hides a secret under her bright curls.

In his daily activities, Pero is helped by his loyal friend Shuki. Although able to enjoy life, Shuki often thinks about death and makes his own funeral plans. The extraterrestrial Ida is very attentive to Šukis and always tries to find his way when the opportunity arises. And it remains to be seen whether Pero and his company will succeed in finding love in this absurd chaos that is called life.
