Fifteen years later, Sebastian, fifteen, suddenly appears at the door of his father, Marseille. A pregnant teenage mother wants him to live with her and her boyfriend from West Germany in a pleasant but very boring district of Berlin. The boy obviously did not accept such an idea, so he came to seek refuge in his dilapidated father's apartment. The father himself, an unemployed fan of country music, has his own problems. His electrical appliance business went bankrupt, so he was forced to close the store and is now unsuccessfully looking for work.
