In the sanatorium for those over 60, Walter, who survived a stroke, meets his peer Virginia and falls in love with it as if for the first time in his life. Virginia herself has only recently lost her partner and feels offended as much as Walter’s childish behavior. To impress Virginia, Walter, along with other sanatorium guests, decides to create a play about Romeo and Juliet. Due to the stroke, Walter has serious problems with memory, but that doesn’t stop either the ever-igniting love or rehearsals of the play. Then Walter himself realizes that he has finally regained both love and life. Old people are hungry for life, and young people are constantly nervous about the future.
