Torkild is not doing well. He was already forty, and he had done nothing righteous yet. Like his friends, unable to even become professional thieves. Unexpectedly, fate offers them a chance. The "Faroese man," the king of the Faroe Islands' gangsters, instructs them to steal a suitcase full of money. Torkild and his friends do it, but decide to keep the stolen money for themselves and flee to Barcelona. But ... their car breaks down in the woods ... Fleeing the police and gangsters, they stay in an old dilapidated tavern. Torkildo doesn’t give up on the idea of repairing a tavern and opening a restaurant for stolen money. However, he has not yet settled accounts with his friends, the "Faroese man" and the local village trunks. This charming, grotesque gangster movie is reminiscent of the famous film “They Eat Dogs in China” (“I Kina spiser de hunde”) already shown on Scanorama.
