European Film Forum Scanorama participates in International Wine Days 2023 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Festival's curated film program, reflecting wine embedded in European culture, will be presented at Litexpo cinema hall on May 6th, Saturday, 14.00 and 16.00.
Scanorama's founder and art director Grazina Arlickaite will present the scenes from Bergman Island (dir. Mia Hansen-Løve, 2021), Fabian: Going to the Dogs (dir. Dominik Graf), Corsage (dir. Marie Kreutzer, 2022) and One Fine Morning (dir. Mia Hansen-Løve, 2022), where wine seems embedded in the European cultural identity.
Before the screenings, wine expert Rasa Starkus will introduce viewers to wine stories, inspired by historical and contemporary artistic expression in film scenes.
