Favorite films of the 20th European Film Forum Scanorama come back to Lithuanian cinemas. From the 1st of January, Corsage (dir. Marie Kreutzer), One Fine Morning (dir. Mia Hansen-Løve) and Godland (dir. Hlynur Pálmason) will once again travel to cinemas in 5 Lithuanian cities.
All three films, beloved by Scanorama's audience, were awarded in The Cannes Film Festival and currently are nominated for European film awards taking place in Reykjavik on December 10th. The awards will be streamed live by national broadcaster LRT and commented live by Scanorama's programmer Dmitrij Gluscevskij. Pálmason's Godland was selected as the best film by this year Scanorama's audience.
Starting with the Scandinavian film outlook and later expanding to the whole Europe and beyond, Scanorama yearly attracts around 40 000 cinephiles. One of the main cultural events of the fall in Lithuania, Scanorama is the second biggest country's film festival.
