Garance Kim
Garance Kim was born in Paris in 1996. With a degree in cinema from Paris 8 Saint-Denis, she acts, writes and directs. Since 2017, she has acted in several short fiction films. She also performs for contemporary artists such as Laure Prouvost, Min Oh, more recently, Flora Bouteille. In 2022, she directed a short film co-written with Martin Jauvat, Ville Éternelle. The film won the Grand Prix du Jury at the Premiers Plans festival in Angers, and was awarded the Prix de la jeunesse and the Prix du Meilleur Premier Film at the Côté Court festival in Pantin. It was also selected at Clermont-Ferrand, bought by Arte, and pre-selected for the 2024 Césars. In 2023, she made a more experimental short film, Bruits de souvenirs, which won the Est Ensemble prize (video art competition) at the Côté Court festival in Pantin. In 2024 she directed Tomber l'amour, her third short film, co-written with Théo Costa-Marini and produced by Tripode Productions.
