One late evening, Akam’s uncle Jens arrives at his doorstep, having come straight from Iranian Kurdistan. Akam, a young literature teacher, already shares his small apartment with friends, but cannot bring himself to refuse his relative a place to stay for a few days. As time passes, the uncle settles in with no sign of leaving. Akam begins to suspect he is hiding something, and what starts as a light comedy about cultural and generational differences gradually unfolds into a poignant drama about migration.
