When her mother injures her leg, Teresa cancels her holiday plans to come and care for her. Feelings of guilt over her rare visits weigh heavily on the daughter, while the mother struggles to accept her own vulnerability. Sharing a home again proves difficult, but little by little the distance between them narrows as they rediscover each other in small gestures – and in their parallel experiences of love and loneliness.
