Two women, Alma and Mina, meet in prison where they visit their husbands. Alma is wealthy and has a carefree life, while Mina has to work hard to feed her children. Alma offers Mina a one-night stay in her large house and the two women, who are used to living without their spouses, strike up a friendship. Mina becomes a new project for the lonely and faceless Alma, and although Mina does not want to live on charity, she takes advantage of the help. Visiting Hours is a conversation between two social classes, asking the question: can there be true love in a pragmatic relationship?
