Eba, 18, looks after the home of a wealthy couple on holiday in Oslo. She delights in fantasising about actually living in this huge house. When she meets an injured young man on the street who has lost his memory, Eba takes him in - as a lover in her fictional life. Gradually, the girl learns more dark details about his past. According to the director, the film reflects on what is and is not considered love in society. The lead actress was nominated for the Norwegian national Amanda Award for Best Actress.
